Letter from the Rectorate – April 2026

Dear students and dear colleagues,

In Baghdad, Domuni Universitas signed, on 24 April, a cooperation agreement with the Congregation of the Chaldean Sisters of Mary, represented by the Superior General of the Congregation. This agreement provides for the establishment of a Digital Pastoral Training Center, the direction of which has been entrusted to Sister Hannan.

Heirs to one of the oldest Christian traditions in Iraq, the Chaldeans carry a living memory—often tested, yet never extinguished. Their quiet fidelity gives this initiative a particular depth.

Through this commitment, Domuni Universitas continues its mission: making knowledge accessible where it is most needed, and supporting a living transmission of faith and knowledge. In a region marked by numerous trials, this Center stands as an act of trust in the future.
