Rector’s Letter – June 2026

Dear Students and Colleagues,

In two weeks’ time, we will gather in Tours for the International Summer School 2026, a significant occasion for encounter, reflection, and international dialogue. Around fifty participants are expected, nearly half of whom are members of the Domuni Universitas faculty.

This year’s theme, “Transmitting and Creating within the Christian Tradition,” will provide an opportunity to strengthen our bonds and to experience together the “we” that lies at the heart of our university community.

Because the Domuni community extends far beyond those able to be present in Tours, several conferences will be broadcast live on the Domuni Universitas YouTube channel: the opening lecture on 6 July, the morning keynote lectures on 7, 8, and 9 July, and the closing lecture on 11 July. Simultaneous translation into English will be provided, and all sessions will remain available for replay afterwards.
