Rector's Letter For July 2026

Dear Friends,

The International Summer School 2026 has come to a close after a week of study, encounters, and dialogue, giving tangible expression to the international vocation of Domuni Universitas.

Fifty participants—professors, students, and members of the international staff—gathered in Tours. Coming from Iraq, Hong Kong, East and Central Africa, Argentina, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Croatia, Canada, and every region of France, they spent several days sharing their research, experiences, cultures, and, above all, a genuine spirit of friendship.

Together, they embodied what makes Domuni Universitas unique: an academic community open to the universal, Catholic in the original sense of the term, where the diversity of cultures enriches the pursuit of truth.

The impact of this week extended far beyond Tours. The conferences were followed live by 542 participants. Since being made available online, they have already attracted 11,420 unique visitors, generating a total of 14,208 views.

I warmly thank the faculty members, students, speakers, and all the teams whose commitment made this International Summer School possible.
