Rector’s Letter - September 2026
25 september 2026
Dear Students and Colleagues,
This autumn, some twelve e-seminars are opening at DOMUNI Universitas, in French, English and Arabic.
From theology and philosophy to history and the humanities and social sciences, these seminars reflect the breadth of research conducted at Domuni: topics will include Saint Augustine, the history of economic thought, and the Florentine Renaissance.
These e-seminars are places where research takes shape together with students. Faculty, students and external participants from many countries meet online to read, to question and to move forward together: each one learns, each one contributes.
On 17 and 18 November, an international research webinar will extend this dialogue to the relationship between theology, liturgy, poetry and artistic expression.
At a time when so much divides us, learning to think with others, in another language and from within another culture, is a modest but genuine response.
To all of you, I wish a fruitful academic year.
Rector of DOMUNI Universitas
