6/’69: Baccalaureate in Social Sciences at the Pontifical Gregorian University. Two majors obtained: in Sociology and in Philosophy.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCES

1974/75 to present: Professor “Incaricato” at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Pontifical St. Thomas University in Rome. Taught courses and Seminars in Sociology of Work and Industrial Labor Relations.

2006/7 to present: Invited Professor at Blessed Diego San Vitores Catholic Theological Institute for Oceania, Guam, Micronesia,. Taught courses in Social Political Philosophy, World History, Sociology, History of the Church, History of Religions, Catholic Social Teaching.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES

10/’88 – 8/’06: worked at Neighborhood Youth Family Services, a social services agency located in the Bronx, NY, serving needed families through preventive individual and family counseling. Covered responsibilities as Intake supervisor from ’88 through 2000 and as Mediator from ’01 through 8/’06. Mediated hundreds of cases, mostly families with adolescents classified as Persons In Need of Supervision -PINS- and Juvenile Delinquents –JD-, referred by the Bronx Family Court.

1/’73-9/’88: worked at ENI, a multinational corporation based in Rome, Italy. Performed tasks as a Negotiator in labor disputes, and being part of negotiating team in the collective bargaining process with labor unions.
