Research Interest
My major interest has been in the Old Testament, Biblical Theology, and Islam. My goal is to develop biblical theology of the Old Testament in the context of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). My research has focused above all on the intersection of the Biblical texts and the Qur’an, with major interest in the character of God. I completed a master research degree (Master of Arts in Christian Studies, major Old Testament) at McMaster Divinity College, where my research focused on the intersection of the Book of Exodus and the Qur’an, with a particular interest in the Golden Calf Narrative in the Book of Exodus and the Qur’an. My doctoral studies (PhD. in Christian Theology) at the same College focused on the intersection of the Minor Prophets Corpus and the Qur’an, particularly reading the Book of Jonah in the MENA context.
