I am writing to you from Cairo, a city rich with a thousand stories, close to regions still affected by conflicts that, unfortunately, continue to shake our world. It is striking to think that Domuni Universitas breathes with two lungs: one in the West, the other in the East.
The harvest, a radiant moment marking the end of summer, celebrates the reward for the repeated and quiet efforts of those who have tended the vine throughout the year. Attentive hands pruned during the heart of winter, enduring the biting cold, and feared the hailstorms of spring and summer.
"Faces of Domuni": a mini-series that highlights the people who bring Domuni to life, from teachers to students and the dedicated teams, united in their mission to share education and the understanding of faith with as many people as possible. Today, we meet Benjamin Kabongo, OFM, a 3rd-year PhD student.
Domuni-Universitas E-Seminars are online courses for Master's Students, offering collaborative and adaptable learning. They take place through the DoMoodle online platform for two months and a half. Seminars cover different subjects such as philosophy, gender studies, and theology, with debates led by experts.

Holidays, a time of pause and rest, have intrigued many philosophers over the years. Not all have expressed themselves specifically on the concept of holidays, but many have reflected on related ideas such as leisure, rest, working on oneself, and the search for meaning in life.
Theologians view holidays as opportunities for spiritual renewal, emphasizing the balance of rest, prayer, and deeper connection with God. They see holidays as a time to rejuvenate both body and soul, fostering spiritual growth and faith.
Two innovative educational initiatives have been introduced: interactive methodology seminars for undergraduates and live mentoring sessions for everyone.
