Art and Faith: Can we use the arts to pray?

Can the arts be a form of prayer? Can the arts help us to pray? How can the arts be dangerous for Christian prayer? Join us for a Domuni Live Event to discuss these questions. The event is open to all Domuni students and will be of particular interest to those with roles in pastoral care or Christian formation.

Aims:

• to discuss the arts and Christian prayer in light of liturgical and pastoral theology
• to explore the role of the arts as both instruments and aides to prayer
• to identify what risks or dangers exist in the use of the arts in Christian prayer
