Introduction to the Gospel of Mark

Description

To study Mark requires us to do so as if we know nothing about Jesus, to allow ourselves to be surprised anew and to rediscover Jesus and his Messianic identity. To read Mark is to reacquaint ourselves with the oldest Gospel portrayal of Jesus. Other similarities and differences between Mark and Matthew and Luke will be discussed as the module unravels, particularly with regard to the crucifixion and the resurrection.
