Domuni Universitas, a private international higher education institution, is committed to promoting the inclusion of people with special needs, and in particular autistic people, in its online and distance learning courses and programs.
The association Collectif Atypique, which helps and supports autistic and neuroatypical people, has signed a collaboration agreement with Domuni to enable these people to be integrated into the university.
The people concerned will be able to enroll in courses at any time and study at their own pace.
WELCOMING AND SUPPORTING PEOPLE WITH AUTISM AND OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS
In accordance with the values and needs expressed by autistic and neuroatypical people, the members of the association Collectif Atypique and Domuni Universitas adhere to the following priorities:
- Domuni and Collectif Atypique are to jointly welcome, inform, support and give advice on higher education for autistic and neuroatypical people, enabling them to find ways of accessing and persevering in higher education, according to different needs and demands.
- Domuni and Collectif Atypique are to collaborate and participate in debates or interviews to orient people as they consider different higher education programs.
We want the inclusion of people with autism and other special needs students in our study programs. Our teams will have recourse to pedagogical innovations to adapt to the students’ particular situation.
